Hi guys,
Hoping somebody can help me please. The screen on my S5 has started going black - mainly when I'm receiving a call. It means I can't see who's calling and I can't answer it! I have to wait until it stops ringing. If the screen doesn't light up, I have to remove my battery, replace it back in & turn my phone on.
Its becoming a bit of an inconvenience as I just can't keep doing that every time! Its annoying & very frustrating! :smileymad:
Thanks guys :smileyhappy:

This isn't much help, but I've had the same problem on an S2. It was suggested that a factory reset might solve it, but I never actually got round to it as it was intermittent. The main problem was that it reliably happened if I'd dialled the wrong number! The way out of that was to tick "power key ends calls" in settings.
It sounds like an issue with the proximity sensor (which blanks the screen when you hold the phone to you ear). Do you have a screen protector by any chance? That might interfere with it. Or maybe a case with a magnetic closure?
