I'm not lucky as you 😎 I'm still in S7 EDGE land,But still a great device when firing on all cylinders.

you've earnt it and from what I can see you seem to have avoided the problems some users have reported ie pink screen  but I think some of these are little bugs that get ironed out after a couple of updates.

.You'll have to let us know if you notice any difference in use or wether it's all internal improvements

I could imagine having held an s8 in your hands for a few weeks I bet them bezels if that's was they are called the bits were the home button the speaker at the top and sensors are, seem like a waste of space.

And I bet holding even an s7 edge seems strange to what you are now used to.

I would be interested to know

Is it a lot better experience having the on screen buttons ie home button and the what was capacitive buttons on the screen as you obviously get more screen but do you lose anything (you never know and I have not had the pleasure of the experience)

Do you think this will be the way to go or they will revert to s7 style

My feeling is they will probably cater for both

Will be interesting how all this pans out

Hi skyman

I totally love the phone i got lucky with reddish screen i think it must of been a bad batch.

I have standard s8 it's even bigger than the iPhone 7 plus the screen is nice and in genral all nice around.

The good thing about this phone comes with 64gb memory plus you can add more i have also 64gb external as well.

Picture quality is amazing plus it's ment to support HDR high dynamic range which looks amazing plus 4k as well.

I think you be more than happy with it only downside i have is wifi calling not working been told it was nougat causing it which I don't think it is otherwise it would effect other carriers.

Then got told be fixed with next software update which it has not.

Hi buddy

Sorry to hear about WiFi calling as I know it comes in handy

When I go to my ma's to sort the garden out my previous device S5 was lucky to get one bar.

And due to the location I was lucky to get any thing but now I can use the Wi-Fi option

I know it's a pain especially if you have had it and made use of it and then disappears but from what I have read they are aware of it and are trying to nail the cause so I think it will be resolved it's just how long you have to wait

Also I've noticed quite a few who have heard about it and not realised they either have a device that doesn't support it or it's not part of there bundle but I know these don't apply to you

Just keep checking your updates by checking manually then you are safe knowing your getting the real deal probably a bit over the top but better safe than sorry

Hope it gets resolved soon for ya

Hi Mino2000 & BandOfBrothers,

According to Sammobile the June up date started to roll out yesterday but at the moment it's only for S7/S7 Edge with model number SM-935W in Canada there is no information of when it will be released in the UK for any models. The last updates posted on Sammobile all have the April security update so l guess we will just have to wait but the way things are going we may be lucky to get the June security patch by December.
