Sim swap has not worked

I have done a sim swap, the sim in my old phone now does not work, and the one in my new phone has not yet started working. It has been way over 12hrs since I did the sim swap online. I was wondering how long it should take for my new sim to activate?

It can take up to 24 hours.

Keep turning either airplane mode of the phone on and off every hour which forces the phone to look for any update.

I am still waiting 48 hours plus down the line. Completed on line for. 12 hours later phoned and got told they had activated it and to wait 24 hours. Phoned 24 hours later as still nothing and again got told it was sorted and to wait another 24 hours. They even tried to sell me a further add on when I can't even use my new phone - completely unacceptable! Hope yours gets sorted quicker than mine!
