Sim swap without old phone

After my iPhone was stolen last week I bought a new one a couple of days ago. Vodafone sent me a replacement sim but I can't get it to activate! Every method I try requires me having access to the old sim, which obviously I don't have so I can't receive the activation codes .Please help!

Or use Live chat. 

They'll activate the sim and sim swap for you.
