Hi
Ive not seen the earphones for the phone but some do have options with a rocker switch built into the cord.
If not then try using the volume key on the side of the phone.

There is no rocker switch on the earphone cord.
As I said, adjusting the volume on the phone itself has no effect. There is only one way I know to do this, using the volume key on the side.

Hi
Thank you for confirming about the earphones.
Im wondering if a type of earphones with a rocker switch will work ? Perhaps see if someone you know has a pair to test.
Yes thats what what I meant about the volume switch on the side.
Ive looked at the user manual for that model of phone and cannot see a setting you seek.

Thanks for looking!
Good idea. I'll try to find some headphones with a volume control built-in. Mystified as to why the phone's own volume key fails to work as soon as I make a call though.

You're welcome.
Good of luck and perhaps let us know how you get on with the headphones.
If your passing a Vodafone HighStreet Store perhaps pop in and the staff maybe able to have a look at the settings for you.

I have tried using a few headphones with volume control (Apple's earpod, Nokia's headset and a Samsung headset from the S6) but the volume control will not function properly.

That's a shame.
Was as worth a shot.
