Sure Signal Version 1 has worked successfully for nearly 6 years. I went away with work for 2 weeks and when I returned it has stopped working.
I have following all the eforums and actioned the resetting guidelines as below, but with no success.
For version 1 Sure Signal (the one with four lights on the front):
The reset button needs to be held in throughout this entire process

Yes still having issues. The same issue that I have been having since early November and there has been no change and no improvement.
My responses are delayed because I am having to work in an alternative location as I have no mobile signal at home (I am a home worker).
All the Suresignal does is run through a sequence
1. Power Light lights up
2. All 4 lights light up
3. Internet light flashes slowly
4. Service on light flashes slowly
5. Internet light stays on
Then it revers to step 2 and runs through step 2 to 5 and repeat and repeat over and over again.
Please confirm what the next steps are, as I seriousy need to consider finding a service provider that works at my address.

Hi ECROTTY,
You have the typical symptoms of a degraded power supply.
Replacement power supplies can be obtained from Ebay or Amazon and cost around £10 - 12 inc. delivery.
Just search either site for 'sure signal power supply' and it doesn't matter if it's for a v1 or v2 SS.... they are exactly the same.
If you need further proof , please read the first post on this thread.......
Regards,
Mike.

I was going to suggest that you had a look around in your old power supply box which nearly everyone keeps in their garage or shed for a similar unit :smileywink: ..... The requirements are .... 12 volt, with a minimum capacity of 1.5 Amp and a 2.5 mm. female connector.
Typical uses for such a unit are mains driven external hard drives, P.C. monitors, printers etc.etc. Also it doesn't have to be a 'plug in socket' type, one with a mains lead will suit.
It will keep you going until the new one arrives, and also prove the fault.
Good luck,
Mike.

Hi Mike
Didnt find anything within house, but instead of buying new power cable I decided just to buy the latest version of the Sure Signal. It arrived overnight and everything is working correctly.
I appreciate your and your colleagues assistance, it is just a shame that I have to pay for sure signal in order to get access to Vodafone service that I am already paying for ........
Many thanks
