Sure signal 2; red light on constantly, other 2 lights flashing together. just got new phone (new nano sim), have been on phone to Vodafone who've taken note of sim number, and re-registered suresignal. pressed reset; lights were still flashing after 48hours, pressed it again; thats been about 2 hours. neither my new phone or my husbands phone which hasnt changed , are getting any service. we changed our broadband provider to BT about 5 months ago; but sure signal has been working fine until my new phone. any suggestions please? we are not super tecnical either.

@carolturn

This should hopefully just be a case of us needing to resync your Sure Signal now you've got a new SIM.

Could you please let us know the serial number of the Sure Signal so we can do this for you?

Thanks. :Smiling:

sure signal serial no;40113123059

thought this was already done earlier in week whilst on phone to vodafone but please tryit again!

thanks.

Will try deregistering as per other message too; although have just re-registered couple days ago it as it had deregistered itself .

thanks for your help guys.........

@carolturn

I’ve re-synchronised the Sure Signal for you today. This can take up to 24 hours to connect.

If you’re still having problems after doing this, try changing the administrator to another number, remove your number and wait a few hours and then re-add it. You can then transfer them back into your name.

Thanks :Smiling:

deregister the unit. then re-register giving it a different name than previosly used. once its confirmed as active (check your account sure signal page), press and hold the reset. then wait ....

Carol if these fixes don't work then you probably need to open up certain ports on your router. That's a little more complex but I'll try and advise. I had the double light flashing problem and the de/re reg plus port opening sorted it for me. Vodafone were as usual uncontactable and if the gods were kind and did get hold of someone, then completely hopeless.

Thanks for your replies, it is now working!!!! I did all of your suggestions, and took it to another address and plugged it into their broadband for half an hour at the suggestion of Vodafones people on phone, so dont know which fixed it but thank you very much for your suggestions, I was on the verge of switching to another network!
