Hi
I have a problem with my sure signal. Its the newest one. I have the one red light. thats it, when I reset it the internet light comes on briefly then goes off.
I have reset the Sure Signal and the router several timesand still nothing, its been like this for days. There is nothing wrong with the interent connection and spped as this is over 3mb all the time
This is very annoying, I purchased the Sure Signal to get coverage at my home address because your standard signal has got worse in my area and my service is unusable.

I have checked all the ports and the following are all open 8,50,123,500,1723,4500.
I must point out that I am getting increasingly fustrated with the lack of Signal that the rural areas are given by you, and the lack of infrastructure upgrages that are carried out. Since i have been a Vodafone customer the signal in the area i work and live has got worse. Where you boast about 4G and 3G we barley have any coverage at all yet pay the same rates as those on 3G. - How is this fair.
Further more I have to pay more money to create my own mini network to fill in the gaps of your service. I am up for contract renewal next month, currently I will be going else where.

Thanks for the information.
Your traceroute looks fine as does your ping test.
Can you try the speed test again please? The Sure Signal needs at least 0.3Mbps upload speed to work correctly and the figure you’ve given doesn’t show this.
Also, when I try to check your serial number, it comes up as invalid. Can you confirm it’s the right number?

Current upload speed is .30. I would assume that the Sure Signal only needs this much when its on a call. The problem at the moment is the fact its not making the connection to Vodafone.

Thanks for the update.
I’ve checked your serial number and can see that it last connected to our servers on 1 September at 20:26.
I’ve also had it confirmed that the latest Sure Signal needs an upload speed greater than 0.36Mbps to maintain a connection to our servers.
As long as it’s switched on, it’ll need this upload speed to keep the connection open.
I’d suggest you contact your ISP to see if they can temporarily increase your line speed to confirm that this is the cause.

Ok we are a few months on and ive tried this in other connections and it stioll doesnt work, and it now wont even light up the white lights only the red one. Are you convinsed enough its faulty yet >?

As if by magic the day after my last post all the lights started working again, after 3 months of being down. Is some dark magic at work here ?
However, my phone still doesnt have improved signal dispite the fact the lights are all on. I logged in to my vodafone account online and then looked at the registered user list. Should my number show up ? It doesnt, two others do. Should i be listed as the device is linked to my account ? I tried adding my number but it just says:
Sorry we are not able to process your request because of following errors in your form.
Is this anything to do with me changing my contract with you last month ?

The sim card was a new one, How do I de register my number as its not one of the 2 that show up in manage users. Do i have to deregister the whole Sure Signal Device ?
