Morning
I have a Sure Signal V2 that I have registered which I am only getting the solid red light after 15 mins or so of the two wihite lights flashing.
I have scoured the forums and the internet and as yet have not been able to resolve the problem.
I am in a serviced office and the IT provider has confirmed that someone else in the building has one and it works and they have removed their firewall for me to gain public access. However the problem is still there after countless resets etc.
Can someone please help? I note that a couple of other users have had this problem and at least one was down to the firewall settings however i believe that the firewall at this end is not in place as I have been told by the IT provider and also the fact that the other user in the building is using their box successfully leads me to think there may be a problem with the connection or the sure signal itself.
Thank you in advance

Hi there WillK,
Thanks for your posts.
The traceroute looks fine although hop 4 might cause an issue though it's not too concerning.
4 112 ms 208 ms 5 ms ge-6-13.car1.London2.Level3.net [195.50.91.233]
At each hop, 3 packets are sent and the response time needs to be below 200ms. Generally an average should be taken over the three packets which is why it's not my main concern.
Ideally it would have been great if you could have already posted your Sure Signal serial number Could I take that from you along with the results of a speedtest?
Thanks in advance,
LeeH

Good morning
After 3 weeks of trying and a further (proper) facory reset it would appear that the sure signal is working!!
After reading the huge thread on this again I noted how to do a factory reset on a V2 which has presumably done the trick?? It is easy to find a V3 or V1 factory reset on the web but it would appear that on a V2 it is the lights coming on again after putting the power back (before letting go of the reset button) in that is the clincher!
The "old" saying of switch it off and on again appears to have finally worked (of sorts)
Thank you for your reply
