Sure Signal V2 won't register

I am trying to register a sure signal box but keep getting a message saying there is a problem. The box is second hand s.n. Is 40113812586.
Can anyone help please.

Had the original owner confirmed they had de registered from the Sure Signal Box before passing it onto you ?

If not they'll have to do this so you can register onto it.

I'm not sure if it has. I have just sent a message to find out.
Can it ever be deregistered without the original owner if is still registered??

If the original owner still has a Vodafone account then can de register it. 

If they haven't I believe they would need to make contact with Customer services for them to manually de register it.

Is there any way of deregistering the sure signal device of I can't find the original owner?

I'm afraid we're unable to de register it without the original owner contacting us.

Ok no problem. Is there any way at Vodafone to find out if it is registered or not? Im still having problems contacting original owner.

I've checked this for you and can see that the previous owner hasn't properly deregistered the Sure Signal.

They'll either need to do this themselves if they still have an account, or contact us on Live help so we can help them with this.
