Had a lot of trouble getting my Sure Signal to work with my Cisco 870 router. In the end the only way I got it to work was to create a dynamic DHCP pool which had only one LAN IP address in its pool. Using the so called manual IP allocation method simply did not work. This strongly suggests that the Sure Signal doesn't recognise the correct protocol for static/manual mapping of LAN IP addresses to MAC address.
