I have the latest SS3 and it now rates as the worst piece of technology in my house. It works when it want to then completely gives up trying for days on end. I have done numerous resets, reboots, unplugs, cable in, cable out etc etc etc etc and it still sits there as a useless doorstop.
When it works it's great but I cannot pay £100 for something that is this unreliable. I am also spending hours of my time tring to figure this thing out to make it work.
For the last three days it has had a solid red light but a slow flashing connection light. It just doesn't work.
Can I have my money back please?

Many thanks

Hi jdjdjd,
Thanks for the update.
I’ve checked your serial number and can see that it last connected to our servers on 4 September at 23:26.
The latest Sure Signal needs an upload speed greater than 0.36Mbps to maintain a connection to our servers.
So we can rule this out, can you provide the following information:-
Your speed test results from here.
Your ping test results from here.
Thanks
Andrew

Download = 2.08 Mbps
Upload = 0.74 Mbps
Ping Test:
Packet loss = 0%
Ping = 34 ms
Jitter = 11 ms
Grade = A

Hi jdjdjd,
Thanks for posting that - the speeds seem fine.
I've done a resync, so give the Sure Signal box a reset to refresh things:
Let us know if this helps. If not, pop us your external IP address from here as well in case this has changed since the last successful connection. It's unlikely but we'd be best covering all bases.
-----------------------------
andyv12 - We don't guarantee an indoor 3G signal in all locations. The very nature of the technology makes it impossible to do so, as there are factors such as building materials, line of site or mast restrictions which can affect signal. The Sure Signal is there to help for those customers who need it.

I am sorry but I don't see the point. If I have broadband in my house, which I would need for Sure signal, why do I need 3G? The only reason for Suresignal is to facilitate voice and text in a low signal area, which brings me back to my original point, why should I pay for a device that uses MY broadband capacity in order to get a service I am paying you for anyway? If you can't provide the service I am paying you for you should supply Sure signal for free AND give me a reduction on my subscription because you are not providing a service I am paying you for. Either that or put up some masts.

My suresignal is behaving in exactly (EXACTLY) the same way, working one minute then stopping, dropping calls mid conversation etc etc, I can go through resets and the like and it all works again for a few hours........
I have decent boradband 15+ Mbps so I dount it's your connection. Mine is behaving in an identical manner to yours, so I doubt they're both faulty.
I think the system itself is simply flawed.

I am sorry to say this but Sure Signal is a rip off.
Why should I pay for a box that uses MY broadband capacity just so I can use a service I am paying for anyway?
The box should be FREE, and those using it should get a REDUCTION to their tariff to compensate them for their broadband capacity that has to be used.
The Sure Signal box should also be accompanied by a letter for Vodafone apologising for being unable to provide a service the customer is actually paying for.
