They eventually replaced my Sure Signal, but the real solution was I laft and joined EE who have true voice over IP.
I now have a redundunt Sure Signal gathering dust before it gets binned.

@JTCM - I’m sorry to hear that you’ve already been in touch with us and it’s not resolved still.
The light sequence you’re getting does indicate an authentication failure.
This usually requires, you to speak to your internet service provider and to advise them that you’re trying to set up a VPN tunnel.
If you’re using a static IP address, please advise them that you’re trying to set up a VPN tunnel and the IPsec is being blocked on an internal firewalled server within their network.
If you’re using dynamic IP addresses, please advise your internet service provider that you’re trying to setup a VPN tunnel and that the IPsec packet is being fragmented in transit.
If you’ve already done this and it’s still not working, please post back with the following information:
