My sure signal has not been working since sometime this morning. Old style box and only have power light on, have tried resetting several times and re booting router, which normally cures any problems but to no avail. The internet connection light does not flash and does not even look like trying to make a connection following reset.

Hi there frunet,
Thanks for your post.
The software update was withdrawn following feedback from the eForum users and other user that had contacted us through other channels.
All units were rolled back to the previous version so this shouldn't have a bearing on the functionality of your device.
I've sent you a PM which can be accessed here. If you could follow the instructions in the PM and send us your details one of the team will be with you as soon as they can.
Cheers,
LeeH

Hi Team,
I had a call from Ben last Friday 21st. He sent me a VSS V3 to determine if it's my V1 at fault.
The VSS arrived on Wednesday 27th and after giving it an IP on my network it started up and connected to VSS servers with no problems.
Almost immediately my personal handset (Nokia E72) had a full 3.5G signal and connects perfectly well. Then I decided to add more handsets, the same as previously associated with my V1. All numbers were entered and appeared in my 'Manage Users' list, however not one of them can get a useful connection, only Emergency calls - 'E' or 'SOS' being displayed.
I tried manual searches on each handset (there are 6), and each can find the VSS 3G node, but again only get emergency connections. Putting the handsets back into automatic, rebooting, and any combination of these achieves no result other than emergency connection.
I left it for 24 hours to see if that made any difference, it did not. Then I called Vodafone and got a VSS tech guy who said that the VSS did not recognise the numbers even though they were registered, advising that I delete all the numbers and do a master reset of the VSS V3, which I did. He then said I should wait 6 hours before adding only 2 or 3 numbers instead of all 6. I've done all of this but still get only emergency services on all but my personal handset.
So, one V1 proven faulty and eliminated from the diagnosis, now a problematic V3 not recognising configured user's numbers.
Ben suggested that if I had any further problems that I contact you via this forum, hence this message. What next?

Hi Guys,
I faced similar issue in the past and I contacted Vodafone Customer Service [Removed by Moderator] and they told me that it is due to back end server migration. If you log into your online account and select manage your Sure Signal, you are required to change the post code to different style such as ST1 5GP, leave this for 10 minutes and then change it back to the correct postcode. Once this is done you may still need to have your Sure Signal re-synced however, give this a go and if you need it re-syncing let us know the serial number and we can get it done.
Note from Moderator: Link removed as contained false information and a chargeable number. If you need to talk to our customer services team you can do so by calling 191 on your Vodafone mobile or 03333 040 191 from any other phone.
