Sure signal and blackberry curve 9320

I have a Sure Signal and have today received a Blackberry Curve 9320. I have tried to register it with SS, but to no avail. The signal just goes to SOS. I have an iPhone and another Blackberry on the SS with no problems. The settings are correct, so can someone tell me what I am doing wrong?

Ok, here's an update.  Check new Blackberry this morning and it has 3G, but now none of us can make calls!!!!  We have 3 mobiles now registered with SS - an iphone and 2 Blackberrys.  This is ridiculous - I add an extra phone to the SS and it cannot cope.

And before anyone asks - yes, I have followed the steps in the Troubleshooting post!

Anyone, got any ideas PLEASE????

Hi SarahJB

I’d like to help to resolve this VSS (Vodafone Sure Signal) issue for you, but to do this I will need to take some further information from you.

Can you post the following results to this thread?

 Speedtest and Pingtest.

Your IP address.

Traceroute.

  • On a PC / Laptop :
  • Click on Start  and select Run
  • Type CMD into the Run box and press enter/click ok
  • A black box will appear.
  • In this box type tracert 212.183.133.177    press Enter
  • Paste the output of this command into your reply.

And finally, your VSS serial number.

You mention that you have followed the toubleshooting steps, by providing this information this will help us identify and resolve your query.

Many Thanks

I have never successfully connected either of my Blackberry handsets (9300 and 9320) to my Vodafone Sure Signal. When it comes to the VSS, for the sake of my sanity, I have to just give up and accept these problems. Fortunately 3G coverage where I live has started to improve, and the Blackberry has excellent voice performance on GSM, unlike the iPhone.
