Sure signal compatibility with OnePlus X?

MaxM4XWW

Hi all,

I got a new SIM in store yesterday and put it into my new OnePlus X. I've noticed today that the phone doesn't seem to be picking up my sure signal.

I have a fairly old one like this..

I was wondering if I have more chance of it working with a newer model? I assume its something to do with 'bands' or similar as I know OnePlus didn't really support Vodafone UK with thier other models.

Thanks

@MaxM4XWW Please take a look at our Sure Signal Troubleshooting thread, and then post back your results if you’re not directed to an existing thread?

My problem isn't really listed, I'm not getting any signal!

I'm having the same issue with my new OnePlus 2 My SIM was working fine on the SS with my old Lumia 635. I swapped a new nanoSIM into the OnePlus 2 and activated it. Works fine on normal Vodafone towers, but not seen by the SureSignal I can't check any settings as my SureSignal control panel has disappeared from my Voda account online!

Thanks Eric I'm at work now and not available this evening. Will go through your instruction over the next 2 days. Any idea how to get my SS back on my Voda account page?

I am pleased to say it is now working thanks to excellent help from SureSignal technical support. First they advised me where the SS Control panel was now located on my Voda account page! Next they removed, then re-added the updated SIM's mobile number. Thirdly they advised to change the network settings in the phone to WCDMA/3G only. After all that, my Oneplus 2 can now be seen by my SureSignal again. When out and about it is a quick job to change back to LTE.
