My Old Sure Signal

Hi, used to be with vodafone and signal was poor in my house so had a sure signal, I am no longer on Vodafone by my girlfriend is and she now has no signal in the house, I need to de-register my sure signal so I can add to her account, serial number is 21223119252 I have tried to call but cannot get through as my old number is not reconised.

Hi Scuzzie2k,

Bad news I'm afraid.

If you haven't used or registered your sure signal for a year or more it will be permanently deregistered and can no longer be used.

 

This is taken from the Terms and Conditions.

 

'If you decide not to use the Sure Signal Service for 3 months (or more) we can suspend, restrict or stop providing the Sure Signal Services (all or part of them) and you’ll still have to pay all charges during any period of restriction or suspension. If we do this, we will, if you ask us to, reconnect the Sure Signal Services unless you’ve not used or registered your Sure Signal Box for 12 months. After this time, if you’ve not registered or used your Sure Signal Box we’ll stop providing the Sure Signal Services and won’t be able to reconnect your Sure Signal Box to the network'.

@Scuzzie2k The information provided by @cineriv is correct with regards to not using your Sure Signal and it becoming deactive.

Hi, I left vodafone over a year ago but my sure signal is still in use and working. I cannot amend users as my "my vodafone" account was deregistered when I left vodafone mobile. what can I do in this situation?

Why do I need to deregister it, I own it. I want access to manage the sure signal so that I can add or delete numbers?

The Sure Signal needs to be registered to an active Vodafone account.

If you would like this to remain active, it'll need to be de-registered form your old account and registered to an active mobile number.

Why can you not de-activate my old one and add to my Patners account after all I had to pay for the thing now its just a paper weight!!!

Please take a look at the second post in this thread.  If you haven't used the device in over a year, you can no longer use it.

 

When was it last used?

I did see this post, but I dont understand why, surely you just add the serial number to another customer? what a waste of hardware. Was used about 2 years ago
