Sure signal eating my broad band

Hi, I have VM Vivid 200 and I am having trouble with my Sure Signal. When it's on and in line it sucks 110mbps from my 210Mbps that I get when it's not in line. I have unplugged the S/S and tested the line and I'm def getting 210. Plug it back in and I'm getting anywhere between 47Mbps and 97Mbps.

Is my S/S V3 faulty? I've seen other posts with other SS versions having the same issues?

Please help!!!!

@t00grumpy Sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

It's unusual for the Sure Signal to request that amount of bandwidth.

Are you able to go within your router settings and alter the bandwidth priorty to 'low' for your Sure Signal?

Let us know the outcome from this and we'll investigate further if required.

Thanks for getting back..

I've looked at all the settings in the VM Superhub 2 and I haven't found any settings to change as you suggest. Any ideas please?

@t00grumpy I've just checked online and can't see any obvious tips to changing your priorty settings with the router you've mentioned.

You'll need to check with Virgin Media to see if your router supports this feature, then they'll be able to advise where exactly you can alter your settings.
