Sure signal/iphone 5

Hi,

    I've just upgraded to a iphone 5 and its not working with my sure signal. I've read several posts on here about others having same problem and that the sure signal needs re-syncing? My serial number is 21228584344.

Hi Cindy,

 

Your new phone means a new sim. The VSS system needs to associate your phone number (which is really just an alias) with the new sim. This can take a while.

Hi,

 

I have an iPhone 5 and a VSS V2 - not able to get the phone to link to the VSS, all set up fine, system light stays on now after flashing for ~10 mins., but phone just wont connect.

 

Can Voda offer a resync please? SN: 40115109585

 

Be grateful if you could check the unit out your end too please and let me know if there is anything wrong?

Forgot to mention, just done its second factory reset, still not working

Please disregard my previous post, did another factory reset and it seems to have sorted the problem, i now have full bars and its connecting fine!!

Hi

 

I have just upgraded from Iphone 4 to iphone 5 and carried across my old number. I cannot get the new phone to receive a signal from my VSS. I have tried a factory reset to no avail. Can you resynch for me please. The serial number is 21228597304.

Hi tobyxj,

 

I’ve re-synced this for you today.

 

If this still doesn’t work, I’d de-register it for an hour and register this up again as it could be an issue with the new SIM ID not being picked up after you’ve got the new phone.

Hi jonforduk,

Your Sure Signal hasn't connected to our servers since 9 May. As such, we're unable to push the firmware updates you need. 

As this will be related to your router, please take a look at our Sure Signal Troubleshooting thread, and then post back your results if you’re not directed to an existing thread. :Smiling:

Err - that does not seem right. We have been actively using it up until yesterday! I know it was working, becuase without it we get no signal at all (5 bars with it working). The problem was getting 2 new iPhone 5  to work with it.

 

Yesterday I did a full reset, and now none of our phones are  connecting! But we have all 3 lights on, so I am sure it is connected via broadband. Plus, it has current information in the dashboard.
