Hi Mdallen605,

I have re-synced the Sure Signal for you however, there does seem to be a location change detected.

If the res-sync doesn’t work, please log into Sure Signal dashboard and change the postcode to ST1 5GP for 5 minutes and then change it back to your own postcode to update the location profile.

@ clairewinstons, I have also re-synced your Sure Signal for you.

Any problems, give us a shout.

James

Hi James,

Same here please; new micro-sim is not connecting with SS. Number is 89441000302065380966. I can't call Vodafone as I have bugger all signal here!

Oops wrong number; it should be 40112563560. Please sort asap, I'm phoneless here!

Never mind, I re-registered like the others and it seems to be fine.

Hi Ruffles12,

Thanks for the update, I’m glad you are up and running again.

I've just upgraded from a Blackberry to a Samsung Galaxy 3 and have a new smaller sim card which was activated in the Vodafone store 12 hours ago. Since then I've not been able to connect to my Sure Signal, although the other devices registered with it still work. I am sick of ringing Vodafone. They sent me into town to the Vodafone shop for a new sim card, saying it must be faulty, but as soon as I got home the signal dropped.Tonight I have spent the best part of an hour on "Live Chat" and it still won't work. If a re-sync of the VSS works, can I have one too, please? The serial number is 40123635092. Many thanks.

Another 24 hours and no signal on my new phone at home, Has worked fine while I have been visiting my son 30 miles away but signal dropped as soon as I got home, even before I opened the front door, so Vodafone signal in the area must be down as well.

I'm thinking of returning the phone under the 7 day returns policy. Really fed up now.

Problem finally resolved, thanks to this forum - not Vodafone! Have deregistered and reregistered the Sure Signal. Didn't work first time - said it was already registered, so deregistered again and waited 10 minutes before registering again. RESULT!

Hi CheshireCat,

Thanks for the update; it’s great to hear we’ve resolved your query for you. If you do need any help in the future, you know where we are.

Hi timmorris,

You can activate your new SIM via your My Vodafone and then either, deregister your Sure Signal (VSS) and reregister with the updated details, or post your VSS serial number here and we can resync it for you.

Thanks

Andrew

This worked for me after change of sim..... Its weird but it worked!

Manually search for networks

1.try to connect to any  non Vodafone network (it should fail to connect)

2.Then go back to Auto search for networks

3.Now it picked up sure signal

I was doubtful this was going to make any difference but the techies in India were bang on!
