Does anyone know if the Sure signal v3 is meant to run very warm to the touch? i had a Sagem signal booster a year or so ago and that didn't get even slightly warm but this thing is kicking out some heat?

Hi,
With normal use electronics will disperse heat.
Please Note : If the Sure Signal displays ANY signs of internal failure / excessive heat then unplug it straightaway and contact Vodafone Customer Services on 191.
They come with a 24 month warranty.

Stu
How hot?
In a room at around 18-21 degrees mine runs around 55-60 degrees using an infrared thermometer when pointed at the area of the lights.
Check the temperature and if you are unsure, return it to Vodafone..
This is one of the reasons for my concerns with this product as there is no ventilation and internal temperatures in a warm abient environment can quickly rise to a point that components are highly stressed and can fail.
