SureSignal Please Help!! End of Tether!!

Hi all. Would really appreciate some help.

Had a sure signal device working just fine, until we downgraded our BT from fibre optic to standard broadband, (as we weren't getting the benefit).

Suresignal stopped working. I reset the device, turned off the router for 10 minutes under advice from support but no joy.

Tried to phone support again, but have to jump through hoops to get to the right person.

Became so frustrated, I just bought another device. That doesn't work either 😞

Same two error lights, last two permanently orange and the red light flashing.

Any suggestions?

Serial number is 42152156909. I have reset this second model as well.

Please help!!

J

Thanks for letting us know the new results of your speed tests.

It may be worth trying the Sure Signal in another location, such as a friend or family member's house. You’ll need to leave it connected for at least 24 hours.

Hey there. I have done. The sure signal is fine.

As per my original post, this is also the second one I have purchased.

When I spoke to a support months ago, they said there was a known issue with bt broadband. Is this the case?

Hi there. Does anyone have any further thoughts on this - and in particular if it is a known BT issue?

J

@Frostieballs

If you’ve tried it at a different location and it works ok and we know the only thing that has changed is your broadband, then the issue is either going to be with your speed, or your line.

In either case, you’ll need to speak to your ISP.

Hello Wayne. The other locations I have tried them in are not networked like the one in our office.

When I phoned up the support team, they informed me there was a 'known' problem with BT broadband that they were working on.

Is this not the case?

Kind Regards,

Jason

The only issues we've seen with with Vodafone Sure Signal and BT broadband compatibilty is with BT HomeHub's 4 and 5. If you do have one of these hubs, make sure Smart Setup from the BT router is switched off. You can do this by logging into the router, BT can help you with this.
