SureSignal Version 1 + Virgin Media Issue

I am trying to get a SureSignal V1 working w/ Virgin Media (router is Netgear SuperHub 2).

Initially I had a solid light 1, and after following advise on a post here to enable IPSec forwarding in the firewall settings of the router, the SureSignal now has lights 1 & 2 lit solidly.

Tried resetting various combinations of the SureSignal and router with no luck - broadband speed is fine. Any advice?

Hi adamdossa,

Can you provide the following information;

Your speed test results from here.
Your external IP address from here.

Your Sure Signal did connect to our servers yesterday just after you posted on here and after doing a resync. Did you do a reset to make sure this completed?

-Hold in the reset button until all lights go solid

-Pull the power lead out with the reset button still pushed in

-Continue to hold down the reset button and reconnect the power lead

-Wait for all lights to come on and then release the reset button

Let me know how you get on,

Kay

Hi,

My IP Address is: 86.6.109.52

PING = 9ms

Download Speed = 62.94Mbps

Upload Speed = 2.91Mbps

The SureSignal now has lights 1, 2 and 4 lit solidly, but phone is showing no signal.

Thanks,

Adam

Hi adamdossa,

The troubleshooting section for the lights you see can be found here

Can you let me know what phone you're using? Also, have you recently had a SIM change?

Thanks,

Kay
