I have been experiencing problems with sending texts and inputting text on my Sony Xperia. When I am tapping in the text the cursor bar freezes for split seconds and does not enter the text then does so after. Also when sending texts it says ‘could not send’ with an exclamation mark in red to the side of the text, however it has in fact on these occasions sent out multiple of the same text (I do not resend the text). I have taken out the sim card and put back, the problem persists. I also have AVG on the phone and it is scanned daily. Has anyone had these problems and can rectify?

Hi,
My avenues would be to .
Can you try your Sim Card in another phone as a process of elimination to rule out the phone or sim card that may be at fault. Try another Sim in your phone. If necessary any Vodafone Shop can replace the Sim Card via a Sim Swap.
Use an alternative App.
Create a Back up and Factory reset the phone.
