Topping Up Mobile Broadband With Phone

Hello everyone just bought 10 pounds worth of top up cant seem to top up using the online service or through the software. Have no problem browsing the internet though. So just need to top up can i do it simply by taking out my vodafone broadband simcard and inserting in my vodafone phone and top it up as i would do with my pay as you go phone?

Hi Asre,

A very warm welcome to the Vodafone efoum from all of the Team. :)

If you have a K3565R USB Modem, then once you have bought a voucher, you activate it by selecting the TopUp by Voucher icon on the Mobile Connect dashboard and then entering the 12 digit voucher code.

If you have a K3565 USB Modem and enter a voucher with a value other than £15, you will get an error message saying the voucher is not valid and you will need to call 08700 77 66 55 to register the code on the account.

Hi asre

You would not able to ring the Top up line from your dongle sim, in your mobile.

You would need to use the methods detailed by James, to Top up directly from your PC.

Alternatively, if you wish to ring 2345 from your mobile and then speak to one of our advisors to apply this voucher for you on the sim for your dongle, just have the mobile number for the dongle or the sim card number ready when you do this.
