We’ve created this thread to help with online problems that may occur when registering, or managing your Sure Signal.
You need an online account so you can register and manage your Sure Signal.
You’ll receive a text as part of the registration process, which contains a security code. This code is only valid for 20 minutes.
We understand that if you own a Sure Signal, you’ll most likely have little or no coverage, so we recommend you register online when you know you’ll be able to receive the text.
Business customers:
If you’re a business customer you can’t register this via My Account and you need to visit Sure Signal for business. Just click ‘Register a Sure Signal’ and enter your company name as the owner and your mobile number as the administrator - this way you can still make any changes needed.
Consumer customers:
You’ll receive a text or email to confirm that the Sure Signal is fully registered.
Please note that problems can occur, if the number that’s registered as the Owner of the Sure Signal, is different than the main number registered for online billing.
Check for planned maintenance:
Check the forum for any planned maintenance. If there is, this will be announced at the top of the Sure Signal forum.
Planned maintenance can involve changes to the registration system, so wait for this to complete and then retry.
Pending active:
If your online account shows the Sure Signal as ‘Pending Active’, then post in this thread and we’ll look into it further.
All other issues:
If you have any other problems with your Sure Signal registration or management, just post the details below. We’ll need the following:
Thanks,
Jenny

Surely it would make more sense to post instructions so that everyone can be aware of what to do to register.

I have just purchased a sure signal box and can't get beyond the address part of the registration process. An error message comes up and I'm stuck! The customer services person was very nice but didn't seem to understand the problem.
Very frustrating.

Hi guys,
Disillusioned - I can see that Lee has responded to your other post on this thread a little earlier.
-----------------------------
mkefshr1964 and amywithers - I'm sending you each a PM so we can help with this.
-----------------------------
kkqd1209 - Have you responded to DaveCD's PM? If you do, we can get the details we need to get this sorted. The difficulty lies with the online registration through My Account, not the Sure Signal itself, so we'll look to complete the registration at this end.

Hi everyone
Thank you for your posts.:smileyhappy:
I can see that a number of you have now managed to resolve your registration issues via other communication methods.
The reason we send Private Messages is because this is a public forum and we are unable to request personal details for everyone else to see.
@ Isalvoni - you have not advised here that you have been able to register so I have sent you a PM to follow, once we have your response either myself or one of the team will be in touch to assist you with this.
You can find your PM inbox here.
Many Thanks
DaveCD

My box is now registered!!! I was using the 'Contact Us' link to make a formal complaint when the Live Chat option was offered. This operator at the other end took all my details (secure chat line) and registered the box.
I have asked that the issue be prominently posted and this route to the work-around posted more prominently.
Still a point of frustration to spend a not-inconsiderable amount of money a month and then need a further £50 box plus consuming up to 1 MB of my internet bandwidth just to use the Vodafone service. And then Vodafone cannot even give us the means to register the box - utter madness.
