I had an upgrade but because of a delayed delivery, I couldn't get back into town to pick it up before the order was cancelled.
Now I see the option to upgrade again but when I try to check out I get an error message - something went wrong, or if I do it on my phone it just goes back to the checkout screen.
I have tried to resolve this on the chat but after over 1/2 hour I gave up as they simply didn't understand. I went into a shop but the guy was more interested in selling me the upgrade than resolving the glitch.
I am now considering leaving Vodafone after 20 years as the only reason to stay was convenience and this is inconvenient... (also why no loyalty scheme...over 20 years, nothing)

It could be the initial not picking upof the upgrade the 1st time that maybe affecting things.
Sometimes if it's not that then clearing your Browsers Cache and or trying another browser can help.
As Live Chat hasn't been able to resolve this then perhaps customer services on 191 can.
I'm surprised the store couldn't tbh.
Loyalty is a subjective subject in my opinion.
A person stays with a mobile contract because A they've signed up to a 24 month contract and would typically be expensive to buy oneself out if it and B The Network is providing allowances and a signal for the tariff amount paid.
So in my eyes it's not loyalty but a contract between you and Vodafone.
That said if a person rings 191 and chooses Thinking of Leaving option they get through to the Retention Department who can offer deals. Best to ring them early in the day.
