Hi,

 

I have been with vodafone for nearly 7 years. I have been trying to get an upgrade for nearly 3 months and NOBODY EVER PUTS ME THROUGH TO THE RIGHT TEAM!!

 

Vodafone customer service is dogs**t.

 

and for some stupid reason I am on a CRYSTAL ACCOUNT? ##~## is this? I was neither asked to be nor told that I was a crystal account holder - this seems to f**k everything up because as soon as an agent realises that I'm on crystal, thats it - i get sent to some phantom department. 3 months and I've been put through to departments where the fone just rings out. Or my fone calls have been cut as soon as im 'transferred'. Or even worse I'm put on hold for over an hour. and the live chat NEVER works because your agents are always busy. ##~##?? Are you serious?

 

This is an absolute joke. I am now into my next contract but I DONT WANT IT because your company is a joke. No loyalty to long serving customers.

 

I have cancelled my direct debit as its the only way I can cancel my account. 

 

VODAFONE - SOMEBODY NEEDS TO GET IN TOUCH WITH ME!!!

That is the worst thing you can possibly do.

 

When Vodafone try to take money from your account and it fails you will end up with a default marker on your credit file, and even when settled the marker showing that you defaulted remain for six years.

 

The best advice is to reinstate the DD and then keep talking to Vodafone, maybe call 191 and speak to Accounts who can look at your account.

I have tried speaking to accounts for the best part of 3 months and all I get is "oh you're a crystal account holder..hold on while I transfer you"

@KevSingh In that case stick around and one of the Vodafone Tech Team will pick up your post and contact you to help you move this forward.

 

Be aware that it can take 24-48 hours for your post to be picked up so a little patience is needed.

In the meantime I am going to the vodafone shop down the road at lunchtime. I am going to demand that they cancel my account and I won't leave the shop until it happens.

You need to be aware that you will no doubt be hit with the Early Termination Fee, you are much better off waiting for one of the Tech Team to help you resolve the issue.

 

But of course "up to you".

That's ludicrous! I've been waiting for a month to cancel this contract and in that time my contract has renewed itself! I wanted out but the shoddy service means that there was nothing I could do! 

 

It's insane how bad these people are
