I have a VA76R here in the UK and I need a set of APN setings to get it working on Vodafone, currently it's limited to calls and texts.
It's capabilities are:
2G capabilities | GSM 900, GSM 1800 |
3G capabilities | UMTS 900, UMTS 2100 |
4G capabilities | LTE 800, LTE 1800, LTE 2600 |
Which are barely compatible with Vodafone.
Menu settings are as follows
Available settings on a VA76r, are:
Profile name:
Proxy 1:
Port 1:
Domain 1:
Username:
Password:
GPRS DNS1:
GPRS DNS2:
Quality of Service Policy:
GPRS Timeout:

Any thoughts, ideas, guidance, anyone?
The Vodafone sim is the third suppier I've tried, and as yet, no luck!

Many times, must have tried at least 20 sets of settings but no joy!
It's livable with just calls and texts, since its meant for outdoor use, email and messenger would have been useful, but not critical, so it does the job it was purchased for, an emergency phone!

Hi
Theres a possibility that it won't be supported on the Vodafone network with it being not released for the uk market.
Vodafones Apn's are available in this GeekSquad link

Unfortunately, That's what I;m beginning to think too!
Pity, 'cos it's really rugged phone! Just what I was looking for!
Thanks anyway

You're welcome @TerryMak
Not all imports present this issue but sadly some do.
The frequencies look to be ok so it maybe a case of playing with the Apn configuration.
Have you tried googling?
Good luck with this.
