Hi there I was looking to get the Samsung Galaxy S8 next year but I believe if I am not due my upgrade i can't upgrade at Carphone Warehouse early and it can only be done Direct with vodafone.
My question is will Vodafone match the upgrade deals that i find at Carphone Warehouse on the Vodafone network?

To upgrade early, you can pay off your contract. Once you have done that you are free to upgrade.

So you will need to factor that in your saving from CPW.

Best deals are mostly achieved direct with Vodafone once your contract is up.

It's always worth a conversation with Vodafones Retention Department to see what they can do for you when the Account status is ready

If a person upgrades or takes out a contract with Cpw then they essentially become their customer with Vodafone providing the Network connection.

Tip > Discounts such as Employers Advantage Scheme wouldn't be applicable as the contract / upgrade has to be directly with Vodafone.  Link to VEA.

It's always best to shop around.

You could look at going to SIM Only Contract and purchase the s8  SIM free and unbranded.

On a side note In regards to the Samsung Galaxy s8.

Rumours around the s8 is launch approximately March 17 which if that goes ahead then availability a month or so after. I'm looking at this model too especially the Edge variant ,when more details are available and I prefer to give it a few months after launch to see what the early adopters report back on it.

Hi there just to let you know I will still have 10 months remaining in March 2017 so I can't take advantage of Carphone Warehouse upgrade deals on the Vodafone network because you can only upgrade direct with Vodafone if you are upgrading before your normal upgrade date that's why I was asking if vodafone match Carphone Warehouse upgrade deals?

Hi. From what we have seen before carphone warehouse deals are always lower than Vodafone, they don't have a network to run etc. I doubt with 10 months to go you would even be able to upgrade to a full price contract then anyway. The only option you would have would be to pay off your contract then start again, that too will be expensive.
