Using public wifi

Hello

I have a s6 edge and I connect to my wifi at work but it won't let me use it and says it's a public wifi and not protected

Can I switch this setting off so I can use the wifi?

I've never seen anything like that and I've used a lot of different public hotspots, not all of them secure.  Do you have any kind of security software on your phone that might be actioning the block?   If so, have a look in the settings there.  If not, look in the Advanced settings under Wifi in the phone's main Settings menu.
