This thread has been created to discuss and troubleshoot the version 3 Sure Signal when the light sequence is as follows:
Cause
This light sequence indicates the Sure Signal's not active and it has been unable to authenticate on the Vodafone network
Troubleshooting
Please restart your Sure Signal. If the symptoms continue please add the following details to this thread:

Hi,
I am having problems with my sure signal V3. The device has been working fine for the past few months but now does not register. I have reset the unit, de-registered and re-registered the unit two or three times but still the lights show no communication with Vodafone.

Hi,
I had my Sure Signal for few days now. Need help. Done soft restar few times, did not help. By the way when I press button for soft reset and keep it pressed for 30 seconds, device does not turns off, only when I release button Sure Signal restarts.

According to the RIPE database, that Vodafone use to validate a users IP address, though you are shown as part of the PlusNet address range, it says that they do not manage that IP address block.

Is were you can check yourself.
So, it's probably Vodafone's servers ignoring you.
You could try powering down your VSS and router for half an hour, then restarting the router, and after that has settled restart the VSS. But, if again the (hopefully different) IP address you get is not shown as known to be located within the UK, the VSS is not going to work.
You are not the first to suffer this with PlusNet, so you may have to call them and get them to arrange for your router to always get one of the addresses they have that are known to be located in the UK.
See what you can find out from PlusNet, if they give you a UK IP address, AND it still doesnt work. (The VSS can take a good few hours to sort itself out the very first time it does connect to Vodafone!) Then come back here.

Could you please help here?
I've recently moved place and I've changed my postcode in my vodafone settings.
I have tried to reset the VSS, but no matter how long I held the reset button, I never seen any all lights on at all!! Followed the instructions on the forum, none of them are working to reset.
