Rajesh: What is the point of Paying such a huge amount of money for 12 month contract when the phone is delivered after 2 months of purchase

You are probably right , but I am really fed up with the fact that i have to wait for such a long time. 12 months contract , 2 months gone in the wait. After 10 months go through the same process again !

@Raj747 As @63johnw has said it is much less stressful to wait until the release date madness has died down and then order as you will probably have the phone with a lot less waiting time.

If not having the phone was going to result in a life threatening situation I could understand it but let's be honest a new phone is not going to be a life changing event.

The advisers can only tell you what is on their screen and although that may prove inaccurate at times it is not their fault, they can only work with the information that they have.

Looking at some of the posts in other iPhone threads I can imagine that the advisers have had to put up with a lot of abuse, I am sure that when they leave home in the morning they aren't thinking "Lets see how many people I can upset today"

I made this thread in a fit of rage, but later realised and agreed to live with the fact that i wouldnt be getting my phone for the next 2-3 weeks. so i guess your reply is a little late my friend. i already realised my mistake.

Have you even taken a look at the Order tracker? It shows you your estimated delivery date. For example, it says:

Estimated delivery date:
28 September 2016 - 05 October 2016

for my Jet Black iPhone 7 128GB.

Mine shows 12 October to 26 October.
You are very lucky to have your date much before. Keep an eye out for the dpd text. You are likely to receive it in next few days.

Mine used to show the same but changed from 12-24 Oct to 28 Sep - 5 Oct a few days ago. Hope I get it this week only because I really want to grab the new Apple Watch as well but can't unless I get my iPhone and trade in my existing phone and use the money towards the watch! The watch shows up for pickup very rarely on Apple's website and I keep missing it because VF hasn't delivered the phone yet and I don't wanna wait till 1 Nov for apple watch delivery, so want to visit the London store and pick it up instead. Oh well, hurry up VF!
