Virgin Wi-Fi problems?

Hey gang, 

 

I've recently changed my phone and can now no longer log into Virgin Wi-Fi on the London Underground. 

 

I get this error (see image) and then, after I try five times, I get locked out! Can you help/advise on how to fix please?

If you have followed the link below and are still having issues making a connection, the message you are receiving would indicate that the service is not enabled on your account.  Most likely, the service dropped off when you changed your phone.

 

Please use Live Chat to get Vodafone Wifi enabled on your account.

Hello, thank you for the reply. Alas, that isn't the problem as I've had this access on my account ever since it was available.

I have a hunch it might be an Android 7.0 problem as the other thing goes I've changed since being able to log in is my handset (from Sony Z5 to Google Pixel).

There's been history of Virgin London Underground not working after an OS update. Is that potentially the problem?

Actually, scratch that hunch, I just tried logging in from a different device and it works fine. Definitely the phone.

Damn.

Anyone know how I raise this?

Thanks Louise. I'll speak to Live Chat and see if they can help. To be perfectly honest, I've spoken with them before and find it so utterly painful I was hoping that by using the forum the bug could get raised this way somehow. 

 

I'm certain it's to do with Android 7 (and specifically not my settings) - is there any way anyone can check the problem out?
