Happy New Year everyone.
I have this problem circumvented so it is not a problem with the service. I moved over to Vodafone Broadband in mid-December. Everything worked as expected, no interruptions to service, or speed drops for example.
Our Humax Personal Video Recorder, which is internet facing for catch-up and streaming services did have an issue though. When a service is called up which needs the Internet you are presented with a āSetting up Content Controlsā page. There are no means of input to answer questions with the PVR, if you retry the service you are presented with a second page but after that there is no change. I have taken a couple of photos off the TV, (not brilliant) and they are at the bottom of the post.
Currently I have got the PVR going to the Internet via another router then through the Vodafone Connect and it works fine.
I seems that the Vodafone Connect router is determining something about the Humax that it feels needs content control but what I donāt know. As an experiment I checked the IP address the PVR was being assigned by the Vodafone Connect router. I then assigned the same address to a laptop and plugged this into the Vodafone Connect router. This went straight onto the Internet with no content control pages appearing. Plugging the PVR back in and trying again it was again showing the āSetting up Content Controlsā page. As the PVR traffic is currently hidden behind a device the Vodafone Connect router as accepted it works.
Like I said at the top I have got around the problem, I am just wondering how to sort it for any future device we might get.
Many thanks in advance.

@Nildram_err404 That's very strange š¤ Thanks for sharing your experience, it could be useful for other users in the future, I'm glad you've managed to find a way around it.
Other than turning off all of your content controls, which isn't the safest way to go about this, you can customise your controls, but you've said that the same IP worked on your laptop already.
You can always contact our Broadband Live Chat team and speak to our technical department, they may have some more advice for you.
Keep us updated with any additional information you find on this.

Hi,
Thanks for coming back to me.
I will be having a little 'play' with the Humax PVR connection at the weekend. I'll post up whatever I find and I will certainly be in touch with the Broadband support if it stays unresolved, as it is not critical, there is no rush.
Best regards
