Hi there.
So last year I had my almost new HTC One stolen and I wasn't insured - I went and bought a Blackberry 9720 and started to use that (with BIS enabled via customer services).
September last year a friend gave me an iPhone and I took BIS off my account and I started using the iPhone. Well - I hate iPhones - always have, always will - so I decided to dig my Blackberry out and revert back to BIS through Vodafone - Blackberry are ideal for what I need - Text/Talk/Email - but I went into the store at Crystal Peaks today and they couldn't activate it - they told me to contact customer services direct.
So I called and I was told that there is NO WAY of adding BIS to my plan anymore and there's NO BIS PLAN because all the new Blackberry handsets Vodafone sell don't have a need for BIS.
I don't understand WHY (when I'm offering to pay for a service) that you can't offer it - you're not trying to tell me that no customer has BIS - I have friends who are on contracts (like me) that have BIS.
Can someone please sort this out and get customer services to give me a definitive answer.
