Vodafone Home Fibre & Home Phone

Hello all, I hope you are well on this very windy day.

I am interested in signing up for the Vodafone 76mbps home phone and fibre service but had a few questions I'm hoping you can help with:

1) At present my home phone is provided by 02 and allows free calls to 02 mobiles, this also covers call diverts. This is very important as I divert the landline to mobile several times and is really handy. However, I know some companies charge for call diverts. I know that for the actual Vodafone call divert feature I would pay a monthly fee but I wondered would it allow free call diverts if I had the included mobile calls package (where you pay £8 approx per month and can call a mobile for upto 60 minutes with no charge)?

2) The current fibre on same line is provided by Plusnet and is 76mps, Would I need to contact Plusnet or would Vodafone arrange the disconnection on signing up?

At present its costing me £30.19 for 02 (shortly going up to £35) and £22.49 per month for Plusnet so there would be a real saving there for me only if Vodafone wouldn't be charging for every call thats diverted.

Thank you

@JohnSnow

Thanks for your post.

In terms of your disconnection with Plusnet, the changeover is all done on our side. This means there's no hassle for you, we'll just complete the switch over on the date we provide to you.

To have the call diverts feature on your home phone, this would cost £2.50 per month. If you need any other information on this, check out our home phone features guide.

Thank you Carly for your reply and the link.

I have read the Homephone features etc but cant seem to find if calls diverted are charged at the relevant rate per minute or are they included (like a direct dialed Mobile Number) if having the anytime call plan at £8 per month?

Its really important that I know for sure as any saving I would make moving the Phone & Fibre to Vodafone would be quickly ate up if each call diverted was charged a connection fee and per minute fee.

For example, at present, 02 supplies said landline, this landline offers 1000 minutes per month to other 02 landlines & mobiles including calls diverted to 02 mobiles. Therefore all calls received at the landline that are diverted to the 02 mobile do not incur any connection or per minute charge for the first 1000 minutes per month. Like Vodafone there is a nominal monthly payment for the call divert feature (which I believe is around the same £2.50).

Therefore, I was wondering if Homephone with Vodafone offers a similar free calls including diverts to a Vodafone mobile and / or if the £8 per month anytime UK Landline and Mobile call plan is activated would any calls to the landline that are diverted to a UK mobile be covered within this plan?

Thank you for all your help
