Vodafone Mobile Broadband - I Don't Understand My Usage Figures?

hi ,i recently took delivery of a mobile broadband stick with 4 g monthly alloance on contract .recently as in 16th june 2010 ,, yesterday ,, when i launced the software i had a look at the usage ,, we had only used it a max of 3 hours yet in ""time based"" it showed 37 hours ??? how can this be when we hadnt even owned it for 12 hours !!! also in volume based at that same time it showed nearly 2 gb ,, that cannot be right can it ! i checked both time based and volume based again today and it now shows 55hours used and 2.3gb ,, something isnt right here ,, also why does it show usage form the previous month and from the 1st of this month ,i have owned it for 36 hours !!!!!!!!!!!! we do not download movies or tracks or even watch movies so where do these figures come from ,, i was told that just surfing would get me around 70 hours a week ,, if this is how quickly it is going to go through the allowance i will be sending it back ,, can anyone advise and explain whats going on please ,, regards vicky

I can understand you being concerned at the figures you're seeing, especially having the phone for such a short time.

To be completely honest with you, I can't say whats going on without taking a look at your account.

I'm going to send you an email and once we've got your reply we'll be able to clear things up for you.

In the meantime take a look at Data Counter to see what sort out usage you should be expecting.
