Vodafone Mobile Connect - RAS Error 619

Hi there,

I actually live in Spain but assume the same problems occur in the UK and I am struggling to find help out here. My Dongle has been working absolutely fine but then the other morning, having worked fine the night before I keep getting an "RAS Error 619" every time I try to connect.
Does anyone know how to solve this as have tried various things and can't understand why it would suddenly do this out of nowhere, will it fix itself or is it a major problem?
Any info would be fantastic

I've taken a look into this for yuo and have found another thread with the same issue that we have already responded to.

Take a look at the fix for RAS error 619 on this other thread and let us know if you still have any issues.

Still no joy 😞
Tried everything on the info sheet and nothing. have tried the dongle in someone else's computer and still get the RAS error. Guessing I need to send the dongle off? but went in to a shop in Spain and the language barrier was a bit of a problem but they basically insisted it was a problem with my computer not the dongle.
Feeling a bit stuck! any additional advice would be great!

Followed all these things and still no joy 😞
What's the chances I'll have to get it sent off or is it likely to be the computer as opposed to the Dongle itself?

I'm sorry to see that you're still not having any luck with your modem. :(

If you have tried all of the options mentioned in the other threads, it could be down to the SIM card and it's connection.

I would recommend performing a manual roam- you can do this through the software by selecting settings. You can also try setting the modem to gprs.

If you're still getting the same RAS Error 619 after these, I would get down to your local store to see if they can help with the repair. :)
