I have always had the Vodafone Net Perform application on my Android handsets and use it for speed tests on a fairly regular basis. This app is meant and designed to collect information in the background about what cells you are connected to and what your technical data is every time you use the handset.
The question i have for Vodafone staff, Is this application still in use ? I have noticed in the phone logs that this app has used 92kb of data in the last 6 months so to me does not seem to be sending any collected data back to Vodafone.
Obviously if this is no longer in use I may as well delete this application from my phone
