Vodafone PAYG Mobile Broadband - RAS Error 619 Happens With A Non-Vodafone HSDPA USB stick

Hi,
I'm from Finland, so try to understand my english.
My wife is visitning in London. She has a minilaptop and "operator free" HSDPA modem with her.
She has bought PAYG Mobile broadband SIM. A friendly salesperson in Vodafone shop sold one without USB dongle.
(He took SIM from a dongle)
Now she has have some trouble to deploy broadband.
As far as i understand PAYG Broadband Settings are:
APN: pp.vodafone.co.uk
usename: web
password: web
But she keeps getting error 619.

I wonder if SIM has some kind of a "IMEI restriction".

Hi __JM__,

The APN you're trying to use is only for Mobile Internet on a phone. Since you're using a Mobile Broadband SIM, you should be using the following APN settings instead:

APN: ppbundle.internet
Username: web
Password: web

If you're using an old 1GB PAYG plan, then the APN will be as follows:

APN: pp.internet
Username: web
Password: web
