My normally rock solid Sure Signal V2 disconnected this evening, hard reset done both from my end and from vf's side yet no connection...just get solid power light. Tried a V3 as well (after registering it) again same issue...just orange lights. Anyone else have issues this evening?

It's been down in IP29 since at least 17:00 (when I noticed, may have been for longer).

Is there anyone from Vodafone listening?

It's still down. I also spotted another post on a different thread from someone else who has been without service for 18 hours. Can we please get a response from Vodafone that you at least know this is happening? It feels like a black hole at the moment.

Not sure how much it will help but if we all keep tweeting to @VodafoneUK they might just worry about the bad publicity.

Just spoke to UK call centre on 191
They're aware of problem, if you call them up they'll reset their end - leave it an hour and reboot.
I'll let you know.

Not sure how to call on 191 with no signal... 🙂

Can you switch your phone to 2G?

2G barely registers here - certainly not enough to make a reliable call: which is why I have a SureSignal. There is no point in using SureSignal for data as (a) I would be effectively paying twice for data and (b) it is much slower than WiFi/Broadband. In fact if SureSignal gave a 2G service not a 3g one I would be happier as my wife's old 2g phone would get signal (different thread - she's a ludite and will not upgrade to a non flip phone and there is no supported 3g flip phone from Vodafone).

I just used the online chat to report the issue, they called back and transfered me to Sure Signal support who are doing a reset at their end. Will call me back in approx 1 hour, so I will report back whether that fixed it.
