Vodafone new fibre optic Broadband

How can Vodafone misuse the term 'new high speed' fibre optic Broadband, whilst using BT's 40 year copper, decayed, downgraded telephone lines ?

Hi there, 

We don't misuse this term, the copper cables run from the green box to your home and that's all, which means they run a lot faster.

Its the same for BT and SkY et al, they all use OpenReach with the exception of Virgin Cable.

Clever stuff has been done to copper to get the last section to perform faster.
