Vodafone smart Ultra 6 won't turn on

Can't seem to switch my phone on this morning

I've since had it charging for a few hours in case the batttery was flat but its made no difference (also tried with the charging lead in and out of the phone - again no difference).

If I ring up the phone from another number I immediately get voicemail which may suggest it is switched off rather than locked.

Any advice on how to overcome this.

Thanks

Hello.

Try holding the power on button for 10-15 seconds.

Are you you able to try another charging cable / plug.

If you cannot get this resolved then one option is to try a hard reset but please be aware that will delete anything in the phones memory as it takes it back to the last firmware update.

As well as what bandofbrothers said, it's worth noting that, if the battery has gone flat, it can take several hours to even start charging, so leaving it plugged in for 24 hours may be what's needed.  In that case, even trying with the charger plugged in may be ineffctive.  Is a flat battery likely?   That's to say, have you allowed it to get low or would you have expected there to be a reasonable amount in it when you tried to turn it on?  Allowing a lithium-based battery to go flat can shorten its life considerably and there's non memory effect to worry about (they're actually best off with frequent top-ups).
