Voicemail Diverts 1211 1212 don't work

I've used Vodafone Voicemail for a long time but recently wanted to divert calls immediately to voicemail. When I use the 1212 option, I get a message: 'Sorry, we have been unable set your divert settings at this time. Please try later.' The same thing happens if I use 1212 to divert etc.

 

I also get the same message if I call Voicemail and use Option 4 followed by Option 4.

 

I've spoken to Customer Services twice. Both times the rep reset my Voicemail (which meant i had to re-record my greeting and reset voicemail pin) but has had no effect on the divert settings - still getting the same message.

 

Any suggestions??

Hello @shuf55 you can turn divert always on and off by dialing:

 

**21*enter number# to turn on.

 

For divert always to voicemail dial **21*121# or **21*07836121121#

 

##21# to turn off.

 

*#21# to check status.

 

##004# reset all to default.

Did you mean 1212 and 1213 for turning immediate divert on and off? Rather than 1211 and 1212? I think they're working for me, but the system does seem to be rather easily confused!

I sometimes use the settings in my online account, rather than using the codes, if my minutes allowance is getting low. At present I can't get into my account from the main site, but I'm able to access it from the mobile site - for me (a PAYG account) the settings are under Services and Extras, followed by Call Divert.
