Wake on LAN support

Hi, I'm trying to set up "Wake on LAN" but the router (Vodafone Connect) doesn't allow me to forward to the broadcast address.

Router IP: 192.168.1.1

Broadcast address: 192.168.1.255 (but it will only allow up to ...254)

has anyone come up with a solution to this issue?
