For 3 days now I have been trying to upgrade my pay monthly deal.
I have tried on iphone, ipad, apple mac and windows pc. but it keeps saying there is an error. I contacted Vodafone yesterday and after some time the advisor told me he had reset my account and to try again in 45 mins, I left it for a day and I still can't upgrade. Its actually very annoying so much that I am ready to leave Vodafone

The generic advice is to clear cookies and caches , try a different browser, ensure no security suite is hindering the process and pop ups are set to be allowed. Or try another computer which I see you've done.
You could upgrade via ringing 191 or Live Chat.
Or if local and convenient visit a Vodafone Highstreet Store as this way there would be no having to wait in for delivery, no delays , and typically walk out with the phone and new contract in hard copy and explained fully.
