Seems to be available in the UK now, according to http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/SM-G800F/VOD/

Hi, this comes up often and Vodafone never comment on when firmware will be released, its a matter of just checking your phone regularly and keeping an eye on here.

This is Vodafones Firmware Statement for branded handsets.

Thanks for your answers.

If nothing else I hope that someone in Vodafone notices this - I'm sure there are others who feel that we've been waiting for a "Very Long Time".

Now, about Marshmallow...

You're welcome.

Vodafone do monitor all posts left on their forum so it's logged I'm sure.

Oh COME ON, Vodafone...

June 2014 : Google announce Lollipop

Nov 2014 : Lollipop available for OTA updates

Jan 2016 : Samsung make Lollipop available for the S5 Mini, but not in the UK

Feb 2016 : Samsung make Lollipop available for S5 Mini for 3 in the the UK

Mar 2016 : Samsung make Lollipop available for S5 Mini for Vodafone in the UK

And now....? We're all waiting for you, Vodafone.

Seriously, this model is broken. No one (Google/handset maker/operator) seems to have any incentive to provide what customers reasonably expect. 2 new versions of Android have been announced since this one, and existing customers are clearly lowest priority.

My next phone's a Nexus - it may not be the best fit to my requirements, but seems to be the only way to escape the whims and, frankly, crap support from Samsung and Vodafone.

@S-C

You can find our statement regarding firmware here.

It's arrived! Only fair to say thanks...

And so far seems to be a very smooth upgrade - no need to do a factory reset, with only one rogue app that might need to be reinstalled.

If only it hadn't taken quite so long.

Over and out.
