When will Vodafone be releasing Windows 7 x64 Drivers?

Hi,

1st post so apologies if this has been answered here but cannot find the answer so far....

When are Vodafone releasing x64 drivers for Windows 7? We are in the process of replacing all our business laptops and the new machines are all 64 bit windows 7 pro.

If this has already been done then sorry but can somebody post a link

Firstly, a very warm welcome to the eForum Family, it's always great to see new faces on here .

At the moment, there isn't a VMC (Vodafone Mobile Connect) version for the UK that supports Windows 7 64 bit. The current supported version for the UK is VMC version 9.4.6.

However, VMC version 10.0.201 does support Windows 7 64 bit. Whilst this version doesn't officially support any Vodafone UK modems, I have been reliably informed that there's no reason why it shouldn't work, so it's worth giving it a try. If it causes any issues then you'll be able to uninstall it and then re-install version 9.4.6.

Please be aware that we will be launching a new version of VMC version 10 in the near future that will be officially supported for Vodafone UK modems, this will also be compatible with Windows 7 64 bit.
