I'm not sure it does.

However, if there's no right to have it unlocked, then, as with anything else, it's a service- for which Vodafone chooses to charge?

Hi Gus,

There is nothing written into the terms and conditions of your contract regarding unlocking, as it's not a contracted service. This is a business rule which we follow, and helps us to recoup any losses as a result of people leaving for another network before the end of their contract.
